Alumni to Watch: Fall 2017

J.P. Grasser ’14 (MFA, Writing Seminars) was chosen as a 2017-19 Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry. The Stegner program selects 10 early career writers annually and gives them two years to develop their work at Stanford University.


Richie Hofmann ’14 (MFA, Writing Seminars) was also chosen as a 2017-19 Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry.


Eleanor Langham ’15 (MA, museum studies), executive director of the Coggeshall Farm Museum in Bristol, Rhode Island, was recognized as one of “40 Under Forty” by Providence Business News. The Coggeshall Museum shows what life on a tenant farm was like in the 1790s, just after the American Revolution.


Wendy Osefo ’09 (MA, government) was recognized as one of “40 Under 40” by the Baltimore Business Journal, which takes note of “innovators, professionals, and entrepreneurs” with remarkable accomplishments. An education professor at Hopkins, she is founder and CEO of The 1954 Equity Project, which helps underrepresented minorities thrive in college.
