When it comes to staying connected with family and friends, only the technology has changed. Today’s students use their phones to text, check social media, track lab experiments, order a meal or a ride, reserve a book at the library, apply for a job, and more. But just like 50 years ago, they also use them to simply talk, one voice to another.
